NZ Pass Verifier

NZ Pass Verifier is the New Zealand Ministry of Health’s official app for scanning and verifying My Vaccine Pass – the official record of your COVID-19 vaccination status.

It’s a tool that businesses can use to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and keep their community safe.

With this app you can:

• scan a customer’s My Vaccine Pass in digital or paper format

• verify their COVID-19 vaccination status – the pass owner’s first name, last name and date of birth will be displayed on screen

• use audio and vibrations to give you feedback on whether the vaccine pass is valid or invalid

• verify passes without internet – the app needs to be connected to the internet at least every 14 days to stay up to date

• use a front camera for scanning – this need to be at least 10 megapixels to scan effectively

• protect privacy – no information about the owner of the My Vaccine Pass is stored on the device or leaves the device.
